Education is the key to a great career in psychology, which is why prominent psychologist Samara Lipsky is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the International Psychology program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP). That doctorate will essentially serve as something of a cherry on a very significant career in psychology. Prior to her doctoral work, Samara earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business from the world-renowned Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta. Samara Lipsky then followed that by earning a Masters Degree in Psychology a few years later and completing a two-year predoctoral research fellowship with the fine doctors at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
You might think Samara Lipsky is all about work and career, but that wouldn’t be accurate at all. She also feels a significant level of pride in her Jewish heritage, ever since she grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and graduated from the Modern Orthodox Raman School. More recently, Samara was a staffer with the Union for Reform Judaism and she has been a Hebrew teacher at the Reform Temple Israel in her old neighborhood. If that’s not enough, Samara Lipsky has tutored numerous Jewish young people and helped them prepare for their bar and bat mitzvahs.
